Privacy Policy

Logiweave for iOS and Android, and this website
Effective and last updated: 19 October 2026

In short: Logiweave does not collect, send, sell or share your personal information. It works offline, has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and never asks you to approve a permission. Your progress, coins and settings stay on your own device. The only things that leave it are optional, anonymous crash and performance reports (you can switch each off in Settings), purchases handled by the App Store or Google Play, and whatever you choose to send us when you email us for support.

1. Who we are

Logiweave is published by AlpsData (“we”, “us”, “our”).

For the purposes of the South African Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) we are the responsible party, and for the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) we are the controller of any personal information described in sections 7 and 8.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer or an EU/UK representative, because the app does not carry out the kind of processing that requires one. If that changes we will update this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Logiweave mobile app (including its four games: Bubble Sort, Eclipse, Royal Weave and Dotline), to this website (https://logiweave.space), and to emails you send us. It explains what information is handled, why, what your rights are, and how to exercise them.

3. Information we do not collect

The app has no sign-in, no servers of ours and no advertising. We do not collect, receive, store on our servers, or share:

  • your name, email address, phone number or any account details (there are no accounts);
  • your location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data;
  • your device’s hardware identifiers or advertising identifiers (such as the IDFA or the Android advertising ID), and we never see or store IP addresses ourselves (the optional performance service described in section 6 receives one as part of its connection);
  • usage analytics or behavioural profiles;
  • payment information: the few optional purchases (hints and extra tubes) are made through the App Store or Google Play, which take and process the payment. We never see your card, billing or account details.

The only exceptions are the two optional, anonymous reports described in section 6: crash reports and performance data.

We do not sell or share personal information, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.

4. Information kept on your device

So that the game can remember where you left off, the app saves the following only in its private storage on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it.

What is savedWhy
Levels completed, stars, best times, daily-challenge dates and streaksTo continue your progress and show your results
Coins, achievements, unlocked and selected backdrops and bubble stylesTo keep your rewards and personalisation
Settings: sound, vibration, language, colour-blind modeTo remember your preferences
How many hints and extra tubes you have bought, and the store’s transaction numbers for them (a number, not a person)To keep what you paid for and make sure a purchase is credited only once
Whether you have switched crash reports or performance data offTo remember your choice
Whether you have seen each game’s tutorialSo the tutorial is not repeated

None of this identifies you, and none of it leaves your device through the app. You control it: use Settings → Reset progress to erase your progress (hints and tubes you bought are kept), or uninstall the app, which removes everything, including purchased items. Depending on your phone’s own backup settings (for example iCloud or Google backup), your operating system may back this data up and restore it on a new device; that is handled by Apple or Google under your own settings and not by us.

5. Permissions and device features

The app never asks you to approve any permission, and the games work fully offline. On Android the app lists internet access and Google Play billing, which Android grants at install without a prompt; they are used only to reach the store’s purchase sheet (section 6) and to open the links below. It plays sound effects and can use your device’s vibration motor for feedback; both can be switched off in Settings. These features do not involve any personal information.

The Settings screen has links to this website’s privacy policy, terms and support page. They open in your device’s web browser, as an ordinary website visit (see section 7). The app may also, occasionally, show the standard rating prompt provided by Apple or Google. That dialog is operated by Apple or Google; nothing about you is sent to us by it.

6. Third parties and the app stores

  • No advertising, analytics or tracking software is built into the app. The open-source libraries it uses (listed in the Terms of Use) run entirely on your device and do not send data anywhere, with three exceptions: the crash reporter, the performance monitor and the store’s purchase library, described below.
  • Apple and Google distribute the app. When you download or update it, they handle your account and may collect their own data under their own policies (for example download counts, device and region information, and diagnostics if you have chosen to share them). We receive only aggregated statistics, not information about you. See Apple’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics). If the app crashes or hits a serious error, it can send a technical report to Google’s Firebase Crashlytics service, which we use to find and fix bugs. A report contains the error and its stack trace, the state of the app at that moment, basic device information (for example the model, operating-system version, screen orientation and available memory and storage), the app version, and a randomly generated installation ID that lets us count how many people a crash affects. It does not contain your name, email address, contacts, location or advertising ID, and we add no user ID, account or other personal details to it. Reports are only sent from the version downloaded from the app stores (never while developing), only when something goes wrong, and only while Settings → Send crash reports is on. It is on by default; switching it off stops all reports immediately. Google processes the reports for us as our service provider under its Firebase privacy terms.
  • Performance data (Google Firebase Performance Monitoring). To keep the games fast and smooth, the app can send Google’s Firebase Performance Monitoring service measurements such as how quickly the app starts, how long a level takes to load, how many frames drew slowly, how much processor and memory the app uses, and basic device, system and app-version information. As with any internet connection, Google receives your IP address; it uses it only to group results by country or region, and we never see it. The measurements carry a random installation ID but not your name, email address, contacts, location, advertising ID or anything you do in the game beyond which game and which range of levels was being loaded. They are only sent from the version downloaded from the app stores, and only while Settings → Send performance data is on. It is on by default; switching it off stops all measurements immediately. Google processes them for us as our service provider under its Firebase privacy terms.
  • Purchases. If you buy hints or extra tubes, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple or Google, with the app talking only to the store through the operating system. We do not receive your name, payment details or purchase history, and we do not run a server that validates purchases. Their handling of your payment is covered by their own policies, linked above.
  • We do not sell personal information to anyone and do not share it for advertising.

7. This website

This website is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and loads no third-party fonts, images or scripts. Like almost every website, the company that hosts it (https://logiweave.space) may keep technical server logs (such as your IP address, the time of the request, and the page requested) for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are processed by the hosting provider on our behalf, are kept for a short period under the provider’s standard settings, and we do not use them to identify visitors.

8. When you contact us

If you email us (for support, feedback, or to exercise a privacy right) we receive your email address, the content of your message and anything else you choose to include.

PurposeTo read and answer your message, fix problems, and keep a record of the conversation.
Voluntary or required?Entirely voluntary. If you do not give us this information we simply cannot reply to you. The app itself works without it.
Who sees itOnly us, and our email service provider, which processes it on our behalf under a data-processing agreement. We do not share it for marketing.
Kept forUntil your request is resolved and then for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted (unless the law requires us to keep it longer or you ask us to delete it sooner).

GDPR. For emails you send us, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering questions and supporting users (Article 6(1)(f)), and on your consent by the act of contacting us (Article 6(1)(a)) for any information you volunteer. When you ask us to act on a privacy right, we process your request to comply with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). We have balanced our interests against yours and process only what is needed.

POPIA. We process personal information lawfully and reasonably, in line with the eight conditions in the Act: accountability (we take responsibility for compliance); processing limitation (only what is adequate, relevant and not excessive, on a justified ground such as your consent or our legitimate interest, section 11); purpose specification (for the purposes stated in this policy only); further processing limitation (we do not reuse it for unrelated purposes); information quality (we keep it accurate); openness (this policy); security safeguards (section 11 below); and data-subject participation (your rights in section 14).

Crash reports. We rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the app working and fixing faults (GDPR Article 6(1)(f); POPIA section 11(1)(f)). The data is minimal and not linked to your identity, and you can object at any time by switching crash reports off in Settings.

Performance data. We rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the app fast, smooth and battery-friendly (GDPR Article 6(1)(f); POPIA section 11(1)(f)). The data is not linked to your identity and you can object at any time by switching performance data off in Settings.

Apart from crash and performance reports, the app itself does not process personal information about you, so these bases are relevant only to the limited cases in sections 6, 7 and 8.

10. How long we keep information

  • On your device: until you reset progress or uninstall the app. We have no copy and no control over it.
  • Crash reports: kept by Google for about 90 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Performance data: Google keeps measurements tied to an IP address for about 30 days and the rest for about 60 days, then deletes them automatically.
  • Support emails: as described in section 8.
  • Website server logs: a short period set by the hosting provider.

When information is no longer needed we delete or irreversibly anonymise it.

11. Security

The strongest protection is that we do not collect your data in the first place: there is nothing in the app to intercept or leak. For the limited information we do hold (support emails and crash reports) we use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including a reputable email provider with encryption in transit, restricted access, and strong authentication, to protect it against loss, damage, unauthorised access and unlawful processing.

12. International transfers

The only data the app sends anywhere is the two optional reports (crash and performance), which go to Google (Firebase) and may be processed on servers outside your country. Google relies on the EU–US, UK and Swiss–US Data Privacy Frameworks for such transfers.

Our email provider and website host may process data in other countries. Where personal information of people in the EU/UK or South Africa is transferred abroad, we ensure it is protected to an equivalent standard, for example through adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses (GDPR Chapter V) or binding agreements that give the information the protection required by POPIA section 72.

13. Children

Logiweave is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children either. We do not knowingly process the personal information of anyone under 18 (POPIA) or under the age of digital consent that applies to them (GDPR Article 8). If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Your rights

If we hold personal information about you (for example an email you sent us), you have the following rights. We will not charge a fee for reasonable requests (POPIA allows a prescribed fee for some access requests; we will tell you first if one applies).

How to use them. Email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject and tell us what you would like. We may ask you to confirm your identity so that we do not give information to the wrong person. We will respond within one month (GDPR; extendable by up to two further months for complex requests, and we will tell you if so) and in any case within a reasonable time as POPIA requires. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

Your data in the app. Because everything the app saves stays on your device, you can access, change and delete it yourself at any time (see section 4). There is nothing for us to retrieve or erase on your behalf, and there is no account to close. Crash and performance reports are not linked to your name or email, so we normally cannot find the reports of a particular person; your controls are the two switches in Settings, uninstalling the app (which removes its installation ID), and the automatic deletion after 30 to 90 days.

15. Complaints and regulators

We would like the chance to fix any concern first, so please write to us. You always have the right to complain to a data-protection regulator:

16. Data breaches

If a security incident ever compromised personal information we hold, we would notify the affected people and the relevant regulator without undue delay, as required by GDPR Articles 33–34 and POPIA section 22.

17. Other regions

Because we do not collect personal information through the app, we do not “sell” or “share” it as those words are used in US state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), and we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because nothing is tracked. Residents of any region may still use the contact details below to ask questions or make a request.

18. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information (for example by adding an online feature, advertising or analytics) we will update this policy and the app store privacy information before releasing that version, and change the date at the top. Earlier versions are available on request.
